Introducing...

Jude Sullivan Haynes
October 30 at 7:41 am
7 lbs 5 oz
20 inches

Sloane Elisabeth Haynes
October 30 at 7:42 am
6 lbs 10 oz
20.25 inches

I have so much I want to share but every time I look at our babies they've grown and look completely different.  With that in mind, I think I'll stare at them a little while longer before I sit down and type out their story.

To sum up the first week in as few words as possible...

One successful surgery
Two healthy babies (who look nothing alike)
Two ecstatic (and very sleepy) parents

We are so in love and I promise to share more... one day.  :)

The four of us going home together on Saturday.
(The second I saw this picture I started crying.  We are so blessed.)

Thank you so much for the sweet calls, emails, texts, etc.  I have read/listened to every single one and hope to respond to all of them eventually.  Please know your thoughts and prayers are so appreciated.

I'm so glad that I was able to steal an hour of your time loving on your beautiful babies. Drink up every single second and just love on them and hold them because it does go too quickly. Jude and Sloane are gorgeous and I can't wait to see more of them. Also, in the midst of the hustle and bustle, don't forget to take care of yourself, too. If you need anything--anything--please don't hesitate to text me. I also have loving and unjudging ears if you just need to be heard. And just one more motherly finger wagging: write down everything about those babies. It's a pain in the ass to take the time to do it but you will not regret doing it.

I am so thrilled for you and Michael. Parenthood is like none other.

xoxo

They are so precious! Congrautlations! Enjoy them, and enjoy your new roles as parents. I have to say...I'm a little curious as to how Thumbs is handling this disruption. ;)

Gorgeous little bits, Meredith. LOVE their sweet faces!! I am so SO happy everything went smoothly for ya'll! I've weirdly talked about Sloan and Jude for the past week. Clearly warranted excitement, because just look a them! And, yes. We will, for sure, without a doubt be having a play date with our soon to be foursome- and I have no doubt my girls will be swooning over that handsome Jude.
