They would probably offer their voters granola. :) Thanks for being kind in your words. Of course, I would have liked things to go differently....but I gotta respect the democratic process (no pun intended). Gotta get back to Fox News (you can roll your eyes now).Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16215798214456789755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737960469602376055.post-37261264349374738522008-11-06T07:38:00.000-06:002008-11-06T07:38:00.000-06:00You got free donuts? I actually support Obama in many issues, there were just a couple of key things that caused me to swing the other way. That is one reason I'm not down in the dumps about the outcome of this election. I'm very hopeful. It is obvious that the general mood of the country has been lifted.

My Google reader suggests blogs to me and yours popped up! I do think it's important to support the president, though I may not agree with him at all times. Lord knows they have a difficult job (esp. this time around). Both candidates gave exceptional speeches last night, and both spoke of optimism, something I will embrace as Obama enters the White House. I'm just hoping the two parties exhibit a willingness to work together in order to turn this country around. Likely a pipe dream, but my greatest hope nonetheless...Kaitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06531470896526442098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737960469602376055.post-24204621468506661352008-11-05T14:06:00.000-06:002008-11-05T14:06:00.000-06:00So glad to hear that you Baracked the vote, Meredi...So glad to hear that you Baracked the vote, Meredith! I can remember when I was a little girl walking with Mama Rogers up the block to the fire station to vote. She carried an umbrella to keep the sun off of her pale skin (tan people were "low class" in her day), and she always voted, even the month of her death at the ripe age of 86. She was active in politics along with her husband who was the first campaign manager for Wilbur Mills, a very powerful US Representative for many years.
I am so proud of you for your stand and your patriotism. :)
MomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
